Q: Will a mobile charger loses its qualities if not used for more than a year?
I have a mobile charger which I have never used. It is lying with me for a year and a half now. Can I use this now?? Will it have any adverse effect on the mobile which is charged using this charger?? Please help.

A: on’t think so, unless it was left in the car all Winter and froze, or left in the heat all the time. If you have trouble with a mobile charger, it comes from the car. I only had one phone for 4.5 years, every time I tried to charge it, my car would blow headlights. I’ve heard of other people having problems with charging in their cars. It screws up your car AND the phone.

A: A Dodge Charger would prob be the worst thing in the snow, it is a rear wheel drive car and its a V8 also depending on what model you get, SRT, Hemi….like i said depending on the model your prob looking at about 13,000-25,000 in 2011

Front wheel drive 4 cylinder or 4 wheel drive will perform better in snow, Like a Subaru would be great in snow and it has some Balls if you get the SRT 4 wheel Drive

I am interested in purchasing an old, used police Dodge V8 Charger. I know these cars have not been on the road for that long, but I know there have to be some out there for some reason that aren’t used any more and up for sale. Where do I look for one? Do I need to find a police auction?

A: All of Europe has 220v 50Hz so everything works everywhere. You just need to get an adapter you could get at any travel store, or, if you are at the airport, they are everywhere.

A: The iPod Nano 4th generation requires a different charger built specifically for the iPod Nano 4th gen itself, iphone 3G or iPod Touch 2nd Generation. I know its kinda weird but Apple changed the pin settings in the port. You can try hooking it up to your charger but you will get a little warning on your ipod screen. Best bet to buy another charger. They are cheap online. This one will definitely work for your iPod Nano 4th Gen.

Q: Can a cellphone charger be used as a power supply?
Hello, I want to know if a cellphone charger can be used as a power supply for electronic circuits. I know that the internal circuit of a cellphone charger has a transformer, rectifier, and additional stages for changing AC to DC. I am now requiring a power supply to power up an electronic circuit. I can use a battery, yes, but it is not economical as it may soon exhaust itself. Can a cellphone charger be used? IThanks

A: Most likely yes. If you look at the “brick” at the charger plug, it should list a voltage and current rating – something like “5V 500mA”. In this case, the output voltage would be 5V and it is capable of sourcing up to 500mA. Most battery-operated devices use two AA batteries which have a nominal voltage of 3V. So you would need to create a system of stepping down your output voltage to the required input voltage of your new system (resistor voltage divider network is easiest, but not very efficient). Provided you stay within the current limitations of the charger, you should be fine. I created a similar setup to power a small battery-operated clock on my lab bench at work, so yes it can definitely be done – you just need to be careful of your design parameters.

A: Well, you didn’t put any details on the car. It all depends on what the owner first paid for it. It could be anywhere from 19,000-25,000, depending on the model and if any customs were put on it. The owner should not charge you as much as he paid, because when you buy a car, once you drive it off the lot it already loses a couple thousand. Go around and ask some dealerships too!

A: The answer is NO on both counts.

Battery chargers are unregulated. When nothing is connected, the voltage can go as high as 16 volts. Also, the output is unfiltered. It’s an AC chopped in two, not a smooth DC that one normally associate with DC. In some models, if you lightly load the charger, it will shutoff as it thinks charging is almost done.

No, it cannot provide as much amperage as the battery. Most of them charge at 10% rate, meaning if the battery was 60AH (which is capable of dispensing as much as 750 amps in short bursts) are charged at 6amp for 10 hours.

4 years ago I bought a bell laptop, and for a year it hasn’t been in use because I got a new hp laptop. Recently, I lost the charger hp provided, and I was wondering if the charger that bell provided with my old laptop could work with the hp laptop. They can both fit into the slot. A: Depends, Do the power jacks look similar? (That’s the thingy what you plug your charger into) Does your charger have a PIN in the end piece (The part you plug in). Because it’s quite possible that they might not fit. Considering Bell ;) (Dell) usually make chargers to fit a specific range of their products, E.G an Inspiron charger would usually fit most of the Inspiron range. But your best bet is that it won’t fit. So i’d get a new one if i was you, as the voltage could be different for both laptops.

A: Solar powered fence chargers, use the sun to charge a battery. A number of things could be wrong. The solar panel is going bad (not fully charging the battery) this would explain the faint click. The battery itself may be bad (not holding the charge) there are numerous relays, and resistors that can go bad as well. You may have to grab the wire, to see if it is still working. Chances are, you need a new charger. By the time you buy a new battery, or pay someone to work on it, for a few $ more, you have a new charger. Grab the wire, and see if it’s still working. It wont hurt too bad. I was raised on a farm, and I’ve had to check the fence several times. lol Good luck!

i have a psp, barely ever used, and in mint condition. i am looking to sell it, and the accessories that go with it such as, the original manual, box, sampler disc, headphones, 1 movie, 1 game, charger, and the headset connector. does anyone know what i can get for all of that?
